America in 2023 and going forward: You’re either all set or screwed.
If, like me, you fall somewhere in between, consider yourself lucky. As long as you’re willing to exercise your options. Some of which you might consider drastic.
By the end of this article, we will have exampled all set, screwed, and somewhere in between. We will also have explored some options, including the one my partner and I plan to exercise. Because, if we want to maximize life as we enter relative old age, we really have no other choice.
While I take exception with some of their methodology, LendingTree conducted a useful study on how much money a three-person household earning $100,000 a year will have left over at month’s end in the nation’s 100 largest metropolitan areas.
The researchers did some weird things.
